Dates for our upcoming tours are set out below. For tours beyond these dates, please submit your expression of interest on the form below and we will be in contact. We are also very happy to discuss the option of a private tour.
We are finalising our 2020 tours and details will be published on our website soon. Availability is expected to be very limited given the number of expressions of interest already received.
If you are concerned about the length or difficulty of some days on the itinerary, please contact us to discuss the options we have to shorten these days.
Koyasan and Kumano Kodo
On the Spring & Autumn tours we visit Koyasan before walking the entire 70km of the Nakahechi route of the Kumano Kodo as pilgrims have done since ancient times. Although sections of this walk may be challenging for some, we are rewarded with amazing scenery along the way. Both tours include two nights in the Hongu area. The Spring tour coincides with the annual Kumano Hongu Taisha Spring Festival held each year on 15 April. Find out more about these regions.
Anyone completing one of these walks and Spain’s Camino de Santiago is eligible to become a dual pilgrim.
